Computer cut Vinyl text can be added directly to smooth surfaces such as Vehicles, Glass, Coated Aluminium and many plastic surfaces. This makes it ideal for many Graphics situations such as Vehicle Liveries which may need to be removed at a later date. On glass the material is of an even consistency so you do not have different thicknesses associated with painted text. (Brush strokes can be visible when full bright light is behind)

We generally use 7 to 10 year life expectancy vinyls for exterior work, however aspect in regards to extremes of temperature and UV will have an effect on the life of the material. Lower life expectancy vinyls are perfectly adequate for short life and some interior jobs. Metallic, reflective, refractive, translucent, dayglo, carbon fibre and pearlescent vinyls are all available for particular requirements (which have varying life expectancies) as well as removable vinyls suitable mainly for temporary changes. Some, but not all of these can be digitally printed. Prints can also be put onto clear vinyls for particular applications. These can be thermally applied and have clear UV overcoat protection.
