Traditional Brush Hand Painted Lettering can be used on many surfaces. Signwriters or Sign Painters (as our American cousins would term us) continue a long tradition of painting letters to Shopfronts, Walls, Vehicles and many surfaces. We can also use gilding techniques to add gold leaf. Updating Honours Boards is an important task, keeping an historical record of achievements. Hand lettering enables us to continue the flow of earlier generations, incorporating the quirks of our predecessors.

Using synthetic signwriters’ enamel paints enables a long lasting finish and high bonding specialist paints give a good key to glass and other smooth surfaces. Matt finishes are often favoured for interior work and some wall application. Sometimes modern technology overlaps and patterns and crests may be produced more economically with our computer equipment.
